    No, it wouldnt

    Michigan
    Oregon/Washington
    Bama
    Florida St

And frankly I could see the committee taking Texas or Bama over FSU.
What would you say.....ya do here?

The committee is also applying the eye test, and I think it's hard to say Georgia doesn't look like the much better team with the way they've obliterated some good opponents down the stretch.

Also on the extra game thing, I’m a lot more sympathetic to that if the SEC played 9 conference games like everyone else, but they don’t. This is the game that gets their contenders to the same number, it’s not an extra game.

Iowa doesn’t matter to OSU. Michigan will block them unless it’s some type of inexplicable beat down.

OSU is pretty simple (yet not likely)
    Georgia win
    Louisville win
    Oklahoma St win

I think the key to everything is Texas.

If Texas wins Iím having trouble seeing a controversial scenario.

Texas vs Bama should be clear cut based on head to head. Sorry SEC.

Texas va 1-loss UGA cooooould be an interesting discussion but itís easy for me to give UT the nod there.

SO you think there is a chance the SEC gets completely left out? I'm not seeing it. Too much money in the SEC.

    SEC is out with:
    Bama win
    Texas win
    Florida St win
    Washington win
    Michigan win

Playoff is Michigan, Washington, Texas, FSU

Same scenario above with an Oregon win instead creates a Oregon /Bama discussion that I think Oregon wins.

Alabama needed essentially a Hail Mary from the 31 yard line to beat a .500 team that just got blown out by New Mexico St.

Alabama has a Texas problem. Texas beat them at Alabama. You can't have any integrity if the two are equal and you decide to take the team who lost at home over the team who beat them.

If FSU wins, they are getting the 4 seed and will get steamrolled in the semifinals.

I don't think anyone is good enough this year to declare definitively that they'd steamroll FSU. Every team in the top 4 has looked vulnerable against teams worse than FSU. Heck, Washington hasn't won a game by more than 10 points since September.

I guess you could argue that the pollsters severely overrate Tennessee, but the people who are making these decisions strongly disagree with you. Tennessee is top 25. Nobody else that OSU beat is even close. OSU's third best win is probably Rutgers or Maryland. Maybe Wisconsin. Doesn't matter - those teams are bad. The B10 was garbage this year.

Tennessee did take a step back this year, no question but they're not Wisconsin. I know I'm biased but other sources agree with me. Wisconsin got no top 25 votes for the AP rankings (Tenn was 26th). The CFP committee ranked Tenn 21 and did not rank Wisconsin. I doubt Tennessee would lose to Indiana or Northwestern this year

Tennessee being ranked 21st in the country is there to prop up a team like Georgia. The Committee has done this since its existence. That way they can talk about team XYZ having so many top 25 wins.

Wisconsin lost their QB and their RB for some chunks of time. Healthy Wisconsin and Tennessee are basically a coin flip. If it got into a Georgia v OSU argument neither of those games will remotely matter because both are just average wins.

Yeah they aren’t a ranked team. They’ve gotten blown out against everyone with a pulse. Good job besting Western Chattanooga Tech.

OSU just lost their 5 star DT recruit Justin Scott to Miami.

Larry Johnson needs to retire yesterday.
