I have to add Baxter Dury, as his first official record came out in 2002. Not sure how his popularity shakes out in the UK but he’s pretty underrated in the US after releasing 4-5 sneaky brilliant records over the last 12 years. And some of the old timers may be fond of his daddy.
Cool, that gets me the Electric Six and McLusky. Also forgot Nightmare Boyzzz and Har Mar Superstar (and, yes, I know). Amyl and the Sniffers keep growing on me.
Oh yeah, there's also Portugal the Man, Cage the Elephant and the Hold Steady. The Heavy's pretty dope too. And J Roddy Walston and the Business were a blast.
