Had we closed out the Twins in the 9th and not blown a 9 run lead against the Pirates, we would be in a much better position right now.

But I’m not going to dwell on the past. Nope. Not thinking about it all. Not one bit. Ancient history. Totally out of my mind. Who are Pirates? What is baseball?

He pitched twice since the deadline. One was terrible, 5 runs in 5 inning, the other one was this one. Not sure I would brag about that.

I am aware though I made the recommendation when he wasn’t injured. Still, two or three starts might have been enough. We’re talking about finishing two games out. And having him next year. Good buy low candidate.
