I would say the same for Lodolo vs. Abbott. They had almost identical rookie season. But Abbott's is slightly more recent so he gets the benefit of the doubt. Who is to say who will be better next year between the two?
The good news is that the Reds control all of these guys for a while.
Just because India turned into a pumpkin doesn't mean that Steer will. When you look at India's minor league numbers(.773 OPS) and the last two seasons it appears as though his rookie year was an outlier. Meanwhile Steer put up an .846 OPS in the minors and has continued that success in the majors.
