Perfect way for him to end the season, imo. Puts feelings ahead of winning games. He bailed(or is it "Belled") on doing what was most prudent to win a ballgame. I would have liked to see them pull this one out but I don't think winning this one meant much to David, or his bosses. Poetic way to manage the end of the '23 campaign. Some better managerial decisions and less injuries to key players and this team could have won 90 games.

Bring on the Wildcats Basketball squad.
GO BIG BLUE!!!! Looking forward to seeing what Baby Shep has to offer the team. Hope he gets some meaningful minutes. I've watched him play throughout his HS career since he went to school just 15-20 minutes from where I live.

It will be interesting to see what options will be available to watch games on a screen. Will Bally sports have the telecasts, and on what cable systems, etc.

That's something we should all be able to agree upon. I wish everyone on here the best of health until we meet again in March and April.

    Thanks for a great season.

Unless something has changed, after the postseason The Reds Hot Stove League will air every Tuesday or Wednesday 6pm-7pm est. on 700WLW.

It should be a very fun listen this offseason.

MLB Fans Rip Ángel Hernández After He Predictably Earns Bad Umpire Honor for Dreadful 2023 Season

The season-long stats are in, and oft-criticized umpire Ángel Hernández earned a predictable title for his 2023 work.

According to Umpire Auditor, Hernández graded out as the lowest-rated umpire in Major League Baseball this season among those who umped at least 10 games.

In total, Hernández missed more than 160 calls behind home plate this season despite working just 10 games behind the plate due to a back injury that kept him sidelined until August.

Hernández also worked what Umpire Auditor graded out as the lowest-rated game by any umpire this season, a Sept. 15th game between the Washington Nationals and Pittsburgh Pirates

He's only the tip of the Iceberg. There are plenty of others who should be asked not to return.

Yeah, if Angel is finally gone, we can turn our attention to CB Bucknor. And then after him, probably Laz Diaz.

We really shouldn't know the names of umpires, unless they're so darn good, you sit there thinking, "Hmm, who is this guy?".

Thanks. I know nothing about them. As I said, it was just a report
