Now who else would write lyrics like that? lol

One of my favorites by Warren. Warren's son and Dylan's son covering the classic:

    Hey, Mother Earth
Won't ya bring me back down
    Safely to the sea?
But 'round and around and around and around
Is all she ever say to me

    Have at it, folks!

This is The Who from Quadrophenia. Bell Boy (maybe?) Not entirely certain of the song title.

My old sig line is from this.

As I walk through this wicked world
Searchin' for light in the darkness of insanity
I ask myself, "Is all hope lost?
Is there only pain and hatred and misery?"
The rose goes in the front, big guy.

What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding. Elvis Costello (or Nick Lowe).

Nick says he made much much more money in royalties from this song than all the other great songs he wrote put together. Why ? Because it was sung by some guy named Curtis Stigers in the movie The Bodyguard. Go figure.

Just don't quote the first line of Highway to Hell beacuse the "N" word is clearly in there!

And just to correct a couple of errors. "I couldn't stop so I swerved to the right, I'll never forget the sound that night" - - I don't know who this J. Frank character is but the correct answer is Pearl Jam and the great Eddie Vedder.

And " Sitting in the classroom, thinking it's a drag , listening to the teacher rap, just ain't my bag. The noon bells rings, you know that's my cue. I'm gonna meet the boys on floor number two!" is Motley Crue, obviously.

You guys are welcome for the corrections - except Roy. I can't correct Roy or RFS62 because they are old. Like Moses old. Respect Roy!

Huh? I just relistened to the song and didn't hear any such thing, nor I do I recall ever hearing such a thing. Is there some story behind this, am I just missing something?

edit: OK, i looked up the backstory and after listening to it again, its hard to tell for sure what he said, but I can't unhear it regardless.
