I can honestly say I have never heard of any of those A's players.

Only missing McLain. Interesting Steer is getting some 2b time.

With India and McLain both on the shelf and no one from the NRI list exactly killing it, it makes sense for Bell to see Steer there.

That said, Steer is likely going to suck defensively. The hope is that his bat makes up for it.

Abbot has given up 3 runs on 4 hits and only recorded one out, so far.

Much easier 1-2-3 second inning for Abbott. I'd guess he was trying to work on something in the first inning.

CES with a big 2-run bomb.

3 stolen bases for the Reds in 2 innings. Friedl has two, Benson with one.

Came back to this game and it's suddenly 14-8 Reds.

The Redlegs have scored 9 runs in the 5th inning

Reds end up scoring 10 runs in that inning.

A few thoughts about the As while listening to parts of this game:

-They have their own player named Max Muncy
-They have a player with the last name Langeliers which sounds like the horrible Stephen King story "The Langoliers"
-Who is the As best player currently? How many baseball fans could name 5 people on their roster?

I knew the first two... I'd have to think about the third, I usually know by the end of the first month, most of my Bay Area friends are A's fans over the Giants
