I think Jessie is leading MLB in On-Base Percentage.

The Dodgers recalled and optioned Eduardo Salazar. The Marlins gave Jhonny Pereda his Major League debut today. He struck out and scorched a grounder.

Robert Stephenson will miss the rest of the season with an elbow injury. He signed a 3-year 33 million dollar deal with the Angels this offseason

It seems like the Angels give out more sizable contracts for guys who don't play or go south than all other teams combined. They are kind of like welfare for baseball players.

Good to see the Angels are continuing to use their funds efficiently.

The Brewers outrighted Kevin Herget. Taylor Trammell was claimed on waivers by the Yankees. Ben Lively threw a quality start for the Guardians last night.

Chris McElvain, who the Reds traded for Santiago Espinal, has pitched two games for the Blue Jays high-A affiliate. The first game was good (four shutout innings), but his game last night was bad (four earned runs allowed over four innings). Overall the numbers aren't particularly impressive.

I'm glad he's off to a hot start. He wasn't exactly my favorite player, but I wish him the best.
Nice if he's recovered from his chronic injury problems.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I didn't realize that Senzel is back. Looks like he got a hit today.
