Thanks as always for doing this. I would fully understand if this became a week based thread instead of one everyday.

Pitching dominated the day in Palm Beach, but Daytona's was a little better as the Tortugas ride their arms to a doubleheader sweep of the Palm Beach Cardinals on Wednesday!

Rios could be an option for the big league team at some point. Forgot they added him. Glad he's back in action.

DAYTON RECAP - A wild one in Dayton last night. Dragons end up on the short side of a 13-11 contest. Dayton bounced out to a 3-0, before West Michigan got serious. After they stretched the White Caps were leading 8-4. Dayton then scored 5 run in the 7th and 8th, but WM tied it up in the 9th to send it into extras. WM then scored 4 runs in the top of the 10th. Dayton rallied with 2 of their own in the bottom half of the inning, and placed the tying run at the plate - to no avail.

Pitching-wise, the Dragons stunk. Every pitcher they sent out to the mound brought his C game with him. Harmon, Jessee, Fransen and Bell are all carrying ERAs over 5, and it was clearly evident.

Offensively, it was a different story.
Jay Allen II is on a serious tear. He went reached base 4 times on 2 walks and 2 home runs (4/5). BA - .386. OPS - 1.241. He also stole 2 bases (4/5).
Hector Rodriguez walked, homered (4) and stole a base (3). OPS - .915. 20 years old and in High A. Make that, raking in High A. Obtained in a trade involving Tyler Naquin.
Cam Collier singled twice. OPS - .926.
Cade Hunter singled and was hit by a pitch for the 5th time in 20 games.
Victor Acosta singled and hit a sac fly.
    Leonardo Balcazar singled twice.

LOUISVILLE RECAP - Louisville jumped out to a 5-0 lead early, and then took the rest of the game off, falling 8-5. Louisville pitchers struck out 15 on the night.

Carson Spiers pitched into the 4th, giving up 6 runs, only 2 of which were earned. He reminds me of Ben Lively.
Casey Legumina hurled 2.1 hitless frames, striking out 4.
Yosver Zulueta. Ugh. 31 pitches, 12 strikes.
Evan Kravetz got the final 4 outs, all on strikes.
Blake Dunn singled and drew a couple of free passes
Livan Soto keeps killing it. A single and 2 walks. BA - .371. OPS - 1.065.
Rece Hinds homered in each of the 1st 2 games of the season, and then went MIA until yesterday. He connected on a double and a home run (3).
Edwin Rios walked and went deep (2). OPS - 1.022.
Mark Trautwein singled twice and stole a base.
    Peyton Burdick doubled and walked.
Connor Capel doubled and walked. OPS - 1.013.
