Interesting that Steer stays in LF with Fraley to DH.

With Friedl back, and McLain/Marte out, the DH spot will likely come from OF group for awhile - particularly against RHP. Today, Fraley.

In theory, that line-up should hit, but Zac Gallen probably says otherwise. Best move today would be to start the game and wipe it out with a downpour in the 2nd inning. The D-Backs burn their best starter and the Reds get a reprieve from their weakest link.

If we're going to put up with India's glove, at least let him lead off and take advantage of the one thing he does well which is get on base.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

What're the odds we actually get this one in? They have to be quite low...

Just a better looking lineup with TJ leading off.

And with Barnhart, Suarez, and Newman for the D-backs it'll be a real family reunion

I think would use Steer or India most days. I might even stick Steer at 2B some. I think he probably has as much if not more range at 2B as India does.
Steer could play 3rd occasionally and Candy DH.
    Steer at 2B India DH
    Steer DH India 2B.
I like Benson,Friedl and Fraley OF defense all 3 over Steer defensively.

Yes, the current batting order isn’t bad, but I’d start off with the five best OBP men - Friedl, India, EDLC, Steer, Fraley, in some order.

We're facing a good pitcher. I know what that means.

Nice to see TJ back. We’re facing another good pitchers, so Frankie is going to have to pitch lights out.

Agreed, nice that they brought him up quickly from the rehab.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
