Haven't saw Ron on here since he said he had to leave during the game last night. Hope everything is okay.

I hope that there comes a day before I pass on from this earth that the Reds have something that somewhat resembles a set lineup day in and day out, and hopefully said lineup will feature no Espinals, Fairchilds, Candelarios or Mailes. Just a bit of wishful thinking on my part.

Just keeps putting the pressure more on the rest of the good players they have left.

Another tough match up tonight. Very low expectations.

This AZ pitcher, Montgomery, has a 5.63 ERA ... if the Reds can't score some runs off him there's no hope...but then again, he is a lefty.

I know all the injuries arenít his fault, but that day will never come with Bell in charge, unless we somehow have 9 switch hitters. Iím with you, but donít hold your breath.

    Go Reds!

My expectations can be summed up this way. I have about as much confidence in my team getting seven or more hits against this Cy Mongomery guy as I would have about going to an Eagles show and expecting my heroes to play and sing "Hotel California" 100% live.

Reds added Friedl, Ford, Capel, all LHH.

Tonightís lineup has RHHs Espinal and Fairchild in the middle of the order.

Reds could use another RH bat. Marte is still about six weeks away.

Ashcraft is going to give up like 10 bloop/bleeder hits and 4-5 runs.

Montgomery is going to get right.

    D’Backs win 6-1

Montgomery has had a slow start, but I wouldn't be ragging on him, he's a quality starter who I wish the Reds would have signed this offseason

He had a bad outing which is why his ERA looks high. Against this Reds lineup he'll most likely be lights out.

Bell tries too much with his lineups. Just put the best players out there regardless of which side of plate they hit from. Also, quit giving at bats to players that will be cut at some point in the season.
