Candelario's warning-track power will result in 1 or 2 HR's that would have otherwise been outs and that, in turn will result in 3 Runs they wouldn't have scored and possibly more as it gives them momentum and hurts the opposing Pitcher.

Stephenson is playing the best baseball in his career and he's now been doing it over an extended period. This should continue.

Fairchild, while it's a very small sample size of 20 PA's over the last 2+ weeks, is OPS-ing over 1.400, is playing well both Defensively and Offensively. Just hope Bell finds more playing time for him.

Steer is a professional hitter who will over the next eight seasons always make the adjustments necessary to have very good seasons for the Cincinnati REDS. He'll begin a turnaround this homestand that will result in a month-long swing of .900+ OPS.

Elly continues to amaze and he, too, will find ways to disrupt the other team, and eventually, get back to hitting well.

Espinal has been excellent when given the chance in the field, and everything he brings to the plate is gravy on top of that superb Defense. When he's playing 2B, he's a huge asset.

One of the LH's is going to have a homestand of 1.000+ OPS.

The Starting Pitching has been superb.

Relievers have been pretty good with the exception of our two best Relievers in Diaz and Cruz. You just never know what you're going to get with a Reliever. Keep marching them out there.
This is "sunshine pumping" but I'm praying your right.

If nothing else, the Reds are making Musgrove work a bit.

Good piece of hitting by Benson. Was awaiting another K after his first pitch swing.

Great post. It’s nice to read something that’s optimistic!

India would've been out on that pick off, I believe.

The Motorola advertisements on the Padres jerseys are more obnoxious than blaming the manager when you have more players batting under .200 than over .250.

Musgrove close to 50 pitches after two innings.
Dave’s Concepcion was my favorite Red- Sabo close second.

India would've been out at home by a mile. He got lucky twice.
