Bullpen day for the Cards. Pallante is a former SP but he’s not stretched out. Plus he’s pretty terrible at pitching.

Reds should win today. 7-4. I’m taking the over.

    Welcome back T.J. “Tejay” Friedl!

Wow, didn't expect Friedl to be back this quickly.

    Also, goodbye Mike Ford

Win today and win the series. Glad to see TJ back. None of us are in the dugout or locker room so we don't truly know and I might be way off by saying this. But I think Friedl is the leader of the team.

Besides Bally Sports, game will also be on MLB Network ( of course, out of Market only ).

It's actually the back up game. Unless you live in the Detroit or Pittsburgh market you probably won't get it on MLB Network. Or maybe the game will be rained out in Detroit.

What is it that keeps Martini in the lineup? Shouldn't his cup of coffee be empty by now? If they're going to keep a guy in the lineup with a .563 OPS I'd rather it be a 24-year-old with some upside.

It probably has something to do with all the injuries.

I think Ford's horribleness overshadowed Martini. It's really something that he is the best they have had to run out there as a LH hitting DH.

Id prefer Hurtubise too and use Martini as a late inning pinch hitter, as he has had an occasional flare for the dramatic

    Oh well, Go Reds!

Meh. Frankie gets knocked around a bit and the reds still can’t score.

    Cards 6 reds 2

Montas has a bad first inning but pulls it together. Reds score a lot late.

    Reds win 7-4
