Who, on this roster, hasn't been on the IL this year?

Has Stephenson been on the IL? If not then that's pretty significant given his history

I believe he got hit in the hand around the same time as CES did and missed a little time? Could be mistaken.

Until we hear another message from the team with slightly less optimistic tone... and then another that sounds a bit worrisome... and then the full report that he is done for year for elbow to "heal".... and finally early spring that it did not heal and now will need surgery.

Or maybe I am just thinking about someone (everyone) else on the Reds the past few years!

If that "best news" isn't Reds-spin, then I have some wonderful ocean front property in Arizona to sell ya. Fact that he is getting a 2nd opinion is worrisome enough to me -- and "not as bad as we thought" leads me to believe my above comment will probably hold true

The article says “We had a doctor see him, had [an] MRI, it’s not as bad as we thought,” Reds president of baseball operations Nick Krall said Sunday in an appearance on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM.

“He’s going to get checked out again, a second opinion, and we’re working through that right now.

If the Reds medical staff has interpreted this I expect his arm to be amputated tomorrow.

Is it common to need a 2nd opinion on an MRI or this just more Reds medical team sucks paranoia.

2nd opinion is fairly standard practice.

Do not disagree at all -- but the article headline says "Reds get 'best case scenario' news on Greene's injury" (apologies for not listing that before)...

This not best case scenario, which is why I referred to it as Reds-spin. More accurately I would say cautiously optimistic news, or more safely not worst case scenario news.

Also, love the Mitch Pic for profile, can say 'would be a lot cooler if most did!' and be more accurate than the article headline

Lorenzen hit them both on the hand in the same game I believe. It was CES's second break of his wrist and Stephenson missed a few game. Not sure if he was DL'ed however.

The #Reds today reported to the 26-player roster IF Amed Rosario and placed on the 10-day injured list IF Jeimer Candelario (left great toe fracture).
