Hopefully just precautionary with Friedl out tonight following his early exit yesterday.

I believe that Fraley’s only homer of the year came off a lefty. I wouldn’t complain if his second one did too, specifically this evening.

Finally, a pitcher who falls into the mediocre or worse category in Bailey Falter...please don't make him look like Sandy Koufax.

    Pitcher profile
Falter employs a pitching delivery inspired by Sandy Koufax. He takes a long stride when throwing the ball, and releases the pitch from his hand closer to home plate than many other pitchers. This extension allows his fastball, which has an average speed of 91 mph (146 km/h), appear to have an exit velocity of closer to 95 mph (153 km/h).

Should be an easy one tonight with the ace on the mound.

Former Pirates first-round pick debuting at PNC Park after spurning team in 2016

Lefty Nick Lodolo has Pittsburgh fans dreaming of what might have been as he toes rubber for a key NL Central matchup.

What did they say about Friedl on the pre-game show? I missed it.

Probably won't play till Friday. Unlikely to go on IL. Worked out today no pain.

I posted this in the injury update thread
Friedl was out of the lineup on Tuesday, as Bell said there was still some tightness in the hamstring despite the strength in the leg looking good.

"We're just going to have to see how it is from hour to hour really," Bell said. "As far as availability tonight, I think it's a long shot. We're just trying to avoid the IL and keep him here and hopefully get him back in the lineup on the weekend."

We need to win 6 of 8 to get to 40-40.

    Let's go, Stewie!

2 Runs scored each from Fairchild and Elly.

A 3-Run homerun from one of our Lefties.

I think pitchers are throwing so hard with so much movement now it's near impossible for umpires to do a good job calling pitches. But they still are Major league Umpires and should be way better at their job than most are.
