Lodolo is so calm and controlled.

Hoping Lodolo rights the ship as he’s not been his self lately. He’s a frontline starter when he’s on. He and Greene have a chance to be a top five duo in the MLB.

Moyer - that guy had a fastball of 84 mph. He threw junkety junk

Larkin covered up his Moyer comparison well when Maddux seemed more obvious

Piss poor job so far of understanding what the pitcher is trying to do

So far you’re right on. But I would be gobsmacked if they don’t knock him around.

CUBS have lost 15 of the 19 games Hendricks has appeared in this season and 11 of the 14 games he's started, including 5 of the last 6.

Maddux is proof you don’t have to overpower guys to get them out at an elite level. He’s the best pitcher I ever saw pitch.

I’m hoping they hang 8 on him in the second.

Which is exactly why most are dying to see a new hitting coach. They never have a plan.

    Good effort by Benson.

Don’t throw that pitch ever again.

Lodolo is getting way too much plate with the fastball. Breaking ball looks mediocre again. Time for some change ups.

Nick is fighting it out there. Similar start last time and he really figured it out in the middle innings.

He’s gonna have to stay off of the 4-seamer. Location is off and his missing inside the zone. Sinkers and changeups are the way tonight. Mix in an occasional breaking ball.

This seems like the sort of pitcher this lineup struggles with. Hopefully that won't last tonight.

Well, the reds are stymied by Hendricks and his crap. Totally out of it.

Just throw strikes, lol. You know your stuff, no doubt, but I think that sometimes baseball "thinks" too much.

It's the Cy Young effect the Reds experience anytime they're near .500
