Correction, this is coach McKay’s quote: "We didn't tackle well today but we made up for it by not blocking."

Elephant in the room with him is the PED's. The people who think he's destined for greatness will tell you it was something he took to get over the hamstring and didn't know. The gap in stats we're seeing and some very troubling defense and indifference may say something else.

Anyway. I've thought he had promise. Not All Star level promise but everything we've seen good from him here and in the minors needs to be proven again after what happened. It's not happening at the MLB level is a near certainty so... put him in AA or AAA and let him get it straight. Right now he's putting up Barrero numbers without the HR's and defense.

I marvel at the cruddy lineups. I can't listen to Bell anymore. I'm infuriated that Krall and whoever conbtrols him did nothing during the trade period. I still watch, but sometimes I wonder why. This team cannot hit when needed. Four hits today. I'm sure David Bell has his fans, but the Little League approach (probably mandated to him by the FO) does not work. Time for a change.

Same. Whoever decided (MLB) this was a good idea is probably in some crazy person.

I think they are boring because they strike out too much and don't get on base enough. A new manager isn't going to fix that. They need some changes to player personnel, and the guy in charge of making those changes is the village idiot. Until those changes are made John McGraw wouldn't have a winning record with this team.

I think that's overblown too. If guys can't hit, a hitting instructor isn't a magician. It's the players who need changed.

If the guys in the stands know Cruz is the kiss of death, why hasn’t Bell noticed it?
