Tennessee's point spread vs Arkansas is climbing fast
According to Draft Kings, Tennessee is now a 13.5-point favorite over Arkansas. The over/under for the game is currently set at 60 as well. So right now it looks like people are expecting a high scoring football game and for the Volunteers to pick up another big conference win this weekend.

The Big 10 and SEC are going to discuss a partnership in scheduling along with each league possibly receiving 4 automatic bids to the CFP.

3 of the top 7 are B1G teams now. if Michigan keeps winning it will be 4 of 7 soon, I am sure.

Didn't you know since Alabama beat the best college football team ever assembled they have to be #1, and since Georgia is the best college football team ever assembled they have to be #5 even though they looked pretty mid. Oh and by the way since Tennessee wears the SEC patch, that automatically gets them ranked high. Ole Miss can't drop because the patch prevents that. Texas can only be #2 because they only have half the patch as a SEC newcomer. And don't forget about Missouri! They are awesome, beat OSU when half their team sat out of the bowl game, and have looked pretty average, but the patch says if you are undefeated you have to be in the top 10. SEC! SEC! SEC!
All kidding aside, Alabama and Georgia played an entertaining game last Sat night but there were some serious flaws exposed by both teams. Georgia just isn't that good offensively, Carson Beck ain't it, and Bama mess around and let Georgia back into the game, something Saban never would have allowed to happen. If the rankings were up to me, Texas would be #1 because of their win at Michigan. I would put Bama #2 because of their win over Georgia, OSU #3. After that, probably go with the run of the undefeated until you get past Mizzou and put Georgia there.
My favorite ranking is the Massey composite. It's the average of 58 different published ranking systems. Their rankings to date:
Alabama
Texas
Ohio State
Georgia
Tennessee
Oregon
Penn State
Miami
Mizzou
Iowa State
BYU
Michigan
Notre Dame
Kansas State
USC
Alabama/Georgia was a helluva game. There will be more big games coming. Oct 19th will have two huge matchups, Tenn vs Alabama and Georgia vs Texas. Mid November will give us Tenn vs Ga.
Oregon/OSU on Oct 12th should be a good one
I thought was a good, thoughtful, and entertaining read:
