Let's see where the committee ranks teams on Tuesday. It sure does make for a fun November

I just want this thing to be in slow motion. One of the most enjoyable seasons I've had as a fan.

And when your defense is on the field a lot, thanks to a poor offense, they wear down. They're at home. IMO, the Bucks better beat them by two TDs.

Going in to the Michigan game, I thought IU had a chance to beat OSU, not that they would, but a good shot to catch OSU on a down day. After the Michigan game, I think that chance is a lot smaller. I do think that a close lose, then beating Turdue, gets them into the CFP.

I didn't watch much of the IU Michigan game, IU was rolling early and Michigan was inept early. I was shocked to turn back on the game late in the 4th and Michigan actually had a chance.

I think its interesting to look at the 247 talent composite and compare the two teams (and also the schedules.) While the talent composite isn't everything, it gives you a nice blueprint of the talent on the team, as well as depth of talent on the team. That said, OSU's starting QB last year was a 5* and their current is a 3*, and no one is taking the former over their current. Playing football matters, maturing as a player matters, and good coaching matters.

It should be of no surprise that OSU is #1 in the B1G around 990 while IU is 16 out of 18 at 668. The average player on OSU is a 4* recruit while IU is a mid 3*. I don't necessarily think it matters in the OSU game with you starting players per say, but I think when it gets into the depth, that may be where things get a little hairy for IU. In a 4 quarter game, OSU can rotate in very good DE's and DT's where IU can't match that depth. It may be a game where IU just gets worn down as the game progresses. But IU should be ready to play, and Ohio Stadium can be a tad bit sleepy for big noon kick off games. I am interested to see what that spread is?

FWIW I think IU's most important game may be that Purdue game. Beat Purdue and you are going to the playoff.

While not rooing for it, as an OSU fan, I won't feel so bad if we lose to the Hoosiers. For me it depends on which OSU defense shows up to play that day.

Indy got tested by Michigan, yet held their ground and passed the test.

Great article on Ohio State's '68 National championship season and Rose Bowl game vs USC (and RB OJ Simpson). The "Super Sophmores" which included QB Rex Kearns, Jim Stillwagon, Jack Tatum, and John Brockington.

This team reminds me of the good Northwestern teams that FitzGerald had. As mentioned before, IU's schedule broke for them, and they passed their only true test of the season last weekend. Now I do give them credit for holding serve this entire season, even if the schedule is weak, its difficult winning every of the year. They are a good quality football team, and the deserve to go to the playoff.

Next Sat will be a huge test for IU. I expect with a week off they will throw everything they have at OSU. I still think a lot of the country still thinks of IU as the old IU. And that may have helped them out this season, and if OSU takes them lightly then IU can and probably will beat them. Hopefully they are up for the challenge.

Ryan Day no longer surprises me when it comes to the big games.

So I just remembered. Back when Cignetti was hired, he went in to Assembly Hall and said that Michigan, OSU, and Purdue sucks...1 down, 2 to go. Hopefully OSU doesn't remember that...lol

Beat the Badgers and the Ducks are in the Big-Ten (nineteen, whatever) Championship Game. Oregon wins all tie-breaking scenario's. Here's why:

I think the Ducks are very good and deserving of their ranking. It's just too bad that their schedule was so weak. Seems like a waste
