I see now. I was unaware that the PAC-12 had lost its mojo. My bad.

Too many games left to start picking on teams…

But I don’t like how it seems like it will shake out that the Big10 is easily going to get 4 teams in the playoff.

I get it, but I don’t like it. Still, let the games be played before diving into the selection if you ask me.

Georgia, Texas A&M (and Texas if they lose to A&M) are the only top ranked, two-loss SEC teams that don’t have a bad loss. They’re the only schools who *maybe* have an argument they were snubbed if PSU/IU gets in and they don’t.

Does anybody have a quick primer on how the SEC championship game matchup is likely to play out? I was trying to figure it out myself and my head started spinning.

Cig getting a big extension the week before OSU game reminds of Mel Tucker extension days before the OSU game that year. Agents must push for extensions before playing OSU lol

None of those teams want to be playing in Columbus/Happy Valley/Bloomington/South Bend in December.

They might not mind Bloomington (depending on what this Saturday looks like) or South Bend.

South Bend can still provide a tough environment to play in but I think I pick up what you're putting down

December weather in the midwest isn't what it used to be. I wish we did see more cold weather games

I love the Hoosier fans on here so I’m not trying to ruffle feathers but giving 72 million out for beating those 10 teams so far this year is quite the win for Cig. By all means he seems to be the tops but yeah…I really would have tried to wait out an extension if I were IU. He reminds me of guys like Aranda, Campbell, Leopold…guys who have a good run in them but then taper off…seriously no offense IU fans.

After Saturday's disappointing game... I'm not enjoying the tailgating in Morgantown.

I was surprised when I saw that. It has been reported that it will be a pretty slow market for head coaches this upcoming offseason in college football. I really can't think of a job coming open that would be marketable better than IU. Maybe USC (don't know Reilly's status but he has underperformed) if OSU caters Day is on the chopping block. I don't see Michigan moving on from Moore after one season. So who is bidding up Cig's value right now?

I don't think he is Mel Tucker, but the extension reminds me a lot of Tucker's. Early on during an impressive start to a tenure. Riding the backs of transfers to a surprising start. That all came crashing down and MSU was ready to move on from Tucker before the ink dried on his contract. Now I don't think Cigs is Tucker, but it will be interesting to see how he goes about building a program. He NAILED the transfer portal this season, but if you rely on that too much its a recipe for disaster.

I think LSU will be open after this year. I don't see Deion sticking around at Colorado either. The thing with Cig is recruiting. IU was 65th last year. They're up to 39 this year but he hasn't shown that he can recruit in the top 25 yet

If he’s anything like his dad, he’s going to be one of the guys that finds and coaches up the diamonds. He’s not going to get Mr. Footballs (from insert state here). His dad gets a bit of a bad rap as he was the guy to follow Bowden and had to rebuild a team that had lost 32 seniors from the Peach Bowl team in 1975.
