Steer gets his day off 10 days late.

    Espinal bats 12th

I suspect over the next 7 weeks when the teams get better, Steer will be one of the top hitter (I hope)

RHP in the line-up and Espinal and France in the line-up but no Benson. Is Benson back from paternity leave? Seems like his 3 days are up. I'm fine if they have just chosen to sit him, but it seems like something else is up.

I see that they've activaed Benson and sent Wiemer down.

So, instead of a 2-0 count to Friedl, that likely would have led to an RBI-basehit, T. J. is forced to swing at a 1-1 pitch that leads to a shallow flyout that ends the inning.

Thanks, Blue. Can always count on you to place your imprint onto a game.

He’s not forced to do anything on 1-1, 2 strikes yeah pretty much

3 terribly missed calls so far in the 1st. All against the Reds. Sweet.

If he lets it goes by, it's 1-2, vs. 2-1 had the previous call been made correctly. So, yeah. He had to swing there. Don't want to be 1-2.
