Of course, you have to swing at a strike on a 1-1 pitch. Because you're not getting as good of a pitch after that if you let it go by. Not swinging is insane and is the mindset of players like Benson.

He ran out of gas last year around this time. He’s thrown 120 innings this year and 230 in his career.
He’s not some 22 year old. If he can’t handle 150 IP, he has no value.

It's likely that Abbott shuts them down the next five innings.

I just got home.
Was listening to the Miami radio broadcast while driving.
Announcers were wondering how soon it would be that the Reds had someone run by the ump after all the game altering missed calls by the home plate ump in the bottom of the first.
Pretty bad I take it?
