John Michael Faile collected three hits w/ HR in his first game Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Team Thursday night.
He's a 24 year old C/1B. He was undrafted Division II North Greenville University where he set the career NCAA D2 record HR and RBI, hit over .400 in back-to-back seasons and won conference Triple Crown.
College: .393-.483-.734-1.217, 81 HR, 339 RBI in 236 games.
Spent '23 in Independent ball: .353-21-70.
Eddie Taubensee was one of his coaches North Greenville University. In February, he told the Cincinnati Reds about him at Fantasy Camp. Reds signed him. He tore it up at their Arizona Complex League team earlier this year (.333 in 25 games). The Reds sent him to Dayton this week to help after injuries.
Nickname is "The King"
Combined OPS 1.175 at every level he's played at in 335 games.
