That sequence of Benson, Marte and India was amazing. Stat-wise (which are so often misleading when trying to assess an upcoming situation), what happened had to be in the neighborhood of 10,000 to 1 odds of happening.
But, the team was showing patience at the plate. Benson has shown the propensity in the past to draw a Walk. Marte has been progressivly getting better PA's each week, and India was ready to break out, hitting it to the exact same spot as his 1st AB, but just a little bit harder to make sure it got over the fence.

Maybe just trying to make contact instead of trying to hit a 480-ft Homerun was the better option.

I hope they are turning the corner, but everytime we've done this they've lost games. It's a maturity thing, I think..500....
