Now Reds defense is struggling.
Spiers started off the season bad, had three good months, and has been rough in August.
Spiers coming out for a lefty-lefty matchup. Tough inning for him, team defense hurt him, but two clutch strikeouts certainly have helped.
And Wilson gets the quick out against pinch hitter.
Nice job by both pitchers to get out of that jam. 7-2 ballgame.
