Hunter Greene not as injured as expected

Looks like we missed a huge problem with our ACE of 2024...

    https://natisports.net/hunter-greene...ad-as-thought/

ps: I'm new here, if not allowed to put links, Reds Krall said Hunter is going to get a 2nd opinion but the first one looked good.

    Welcome to the show!
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I joined today after being fed-up with the Reds Reddit constant excuse making for this org.

The Hunter news seems good, but I have zero faith in anything they say medical wise.

If Hunter did dodge a serious injury, just shut him down for the next 6 weeks. 2025 Rotation: Greene, Abbott, Lodolo, Lowder, 5th

    couldn't agree more

they need to treat him like he's still a precious prospect asset & shut him down.
At least until maybe late Sept
If they're in a position to make the playoffs bring him back, potentially..

I thought Aguiar looked pretty composed last night, in place of Greene. Not sure why they only let him thrown 4 inning and 60 pitches.

As for Hunter, if he ever goes into TJ 2.0 Territory, he would likley have to convert to closer

Likely a case of them cutting him a short rope so he doesn't hang himself.

I'm guessing he gets more of an opportunity in his second start.

If he pitches well then, I could see them choosing to go to a six-man rotation when Greene gets back.

That'd ease the innings load for Lodolo, Greene, Abbott, et al, while also providing them a chance to see if Aguiar's an option for Opening Day 2025.

Some of the decisions that this organization makes in regard to players makes me think that they already had lobotomies. Especially Nick Krall.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

In the absence of a surprise/miracle 10 game winning streak in the interim, I'd agree.

You are assuming had a brain to lobotomize in the first place. I am not so sure.
