On the flip side, since August 11 he's at .278/.350/.556/.906 so maybe he's turned the corner again.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Hmm. One of these things is not like the other...

Split G GS PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI SB CS BB SO BA OBP SLG OPS
    April/March 25 25 110 92 11 21 2 1 1 10 3 0 15 21 .228 .346 .304 .650
    May 25 25 97 82 8 18 3 0 2 8 2 1 15 20 .220 .340 .329 .670
    June 27 27 108 92 19 35 13 0 2 16 3 0 10 22 .380 .454 .587 1.041
    July 23 23 99 82 16 17 4 0 3 6 2 0 13 18 .207 .316 .366 .682
    August 18 18 81 71 11 15 2 0 4 8 1 0 9 21 .211 .309 .409 .717

Look, He seems like a nice guy. But he had one good month. And even those numbers since Aug. 11 only managed to drag him up to a .717 OPS for August.

I don't want McLain to come back before he's ready, But I'll be happier when I see him at 2B when he is ready.

Why don't we focus on Marte and Benson instead of India?

India comes into the game at .253/.356/.401/.757 for the season. He’s having a solid year. In particular his OBP is quite good. Power a little short though exactly average for MLB.

Skenes is probably going to be a great one, but there’s something about him I just don’t like.

India’s timing was tremendous in June…started off with some good BABIP but turned it into spraying the ball everywhere and with some pop

He’s been bad since up until his day off and he’s had the good timing of late.

IMO he went from the called up guy and the rookie and then hardly any at bats later he’s all of a sudden the veteran and team leader. I always thought that was weird

He’s out. FFS. No reason for that.

Not fair to have fantastic stuff, and a crazy good pickoff as well.

Just ridiculous from Elly. You have already been picked once. You almost got picked a minute ago and you still do the same thing. More nonsense fundamentals from this team and just guys allowed to do anything they want.

He’s been picked off by him before and was centimeters away from being picked off the first try. That’s just dumb and it has to stop.
