So Espinal was 21 for 43 and then just randomly stopped getting put into the lineup…only played 3 of the first 9 games in August….since then he’s 13 for 32 for another spurt over .400

Maybe let this one go until it’s over….might go 0 for his next 8 but let it ride until it’s not going anymore. He didn’t play much against some of those easy series either

It’s hard to crack our star driven lineup. My guess is they figured he was due for a slump. lol

Just to clear things up, I think the Reds as of the last month or so, have basically 4 guys I would consider everyday position players. Elly, Steer, Freidl, and Stevenson. Maybe France if we are talking more recently. Point is, since that leaves four or five other spots, then Bell and company might want to consider playing the hot hand, if they care about winning more consistently.
