And there is Marte's contribution to this game. I think his mom is the score keeper.. a single!

It seems to be a theme.

Fully acknowledge his defense has been cheeks, but that was a tough play

It was tough, but he played it wrong by backing up on it.

Williamson is looking pretty good. He didn't get rattled there after some less than fortunate plays behind him.

That was a play most 3rd basemen make. He backed up and turned his body away from it. Had he not put a glove on it.. .he wouldn't have even knocked it down.

Don’t know if better to ask here since it’s deader than an Anita Bryant concert. Would it not make sense since they are only going 2-3 innings for the relievers to be able to start on 2-3 days rest? Saves having to move pitchers up and down.

Just a guess but with Suter and Williamson being brought up today. I doubt we see much more pitching roster moves. Unless a injury happens or they decide to shut down a pitcher due to innings.
The current 14 are either veteran arms or younger prospects. They might send down Agular or Lowder or Williamson if they decide they have pitched enough.

I’m tired of GABP. This place is a joke.

Ok. Did not look at that at all before I posted. Thanks. It would make sense to me. They don’t need 4 days to rest after 2-3 innings less than 40-50 pitches. I would think.

Williamson over sixty pitches in his first game back after throwing two innings since June.

I think he threw around 50 pitches in those two innings. I don't have a problem letting him rehab at the big-league level since the season is lost.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
