I thought that to and rewatched it. His break on the hit wasn’t tremendous but ok….that hall was hit hard and he was just around 2nd while ball had left OF hand

He has hit a lot of balls well no question. But every bloop has found grass and a lot of ground balls have gone through.
He’s on pace for 20 dingers and 85 ribeyes over a full season *

Yeah, that sounds like a goal Tucker Barnhardt would have. I can't say I'm surprised that .500 would be a loftly goal for the players in this franchise. Fans continue to apologize for sub- .500 performers on and off the field of play.

Sadak when using the word “crank”

Elly’s power didn’t improve as much as I thought it would. He’s on pace for 25-26 HR. That’s obviously not bad, by any stretch, but a guy with his talent & power in this joke of a stadium could easily get 35-40.

No strikeouts through 3 but shadows appear to be tough and Verlander had 2 that inning

Who had “Elly will be in the top 20 of MLB for walks” on their bingo card?

I still think many players are having big trouble seeing at the plate.

This is the time of the day Aaron Harang turned into Randy Johnson in extra innings…before blowing out his arm
