I think they are in dead last place.

Spiers did not look good last inning either. No surprise with this result.

Obviously there a big crowd to watch. After Rose got his hit almost everyone cleared out. I was the baseball junkie that stayed and watched the entire game.
Oh yeah, I watched it from first pitch to final out. I remember that image of Show just sitting down near the mound with his arms folded. He was pissed that the celebration took so long. I remember hearing that his teammates were not very fond of his antics. I read somewhere that Gary Templeton called Show's petulant behavior "Bush League."

Might be wrong but just watching reactions. France loves playing for the Reds. But I get the feeling Rosario really doesn't Wana be with the Reds. Pure speculation on my part.

He wasn't. And his teammates weren't happy with Show for acting like a crybaby. Martinez and Show got into a shoving match in the dugout later in the game.

The tortured life of Eric Show. Really sad.
IIRC, Show beaned Andre Dawson once breaking his face and touched off a big brawl. IIRC, Dawson got revenge a year later by hitting a bomb off Show.

Sure felt like they gave up on trying to win the game when the Cards went up 2-1.
