David Tepper shot to the top of the Worst NFL Owner list once Snyder slithered away.
    Appreciate the update.

Also, while the Patriots won the Super Bowls, they didn't sell the Jerseys.

Other than Brady and Moss (for a very short time), there just weren't the Stars.

If you drafted any Patriot (non-Brady) on your Fantasy team you were surely not going to win any Championships, as Belichick always kept people guessing on who is going to get the ball from week to week. More often than not, you'd guess wrong, just like Belichick's opponents.

Unless you drafted Wes Welker in a PPR league.

Welker, for sure. Usually made sure that I had him.

Hated the Patriots, but loved that guy. He was tough as nails and lived in the middle of the field, knowing he would get drilled.

In a PPR league, which at the time, only about half the leagues were, he was money...stayed on the field, got more catches than anyone else, and was also targeted around the goalline. Can't ask for anything more.

I'm pretty excited about having Lawrence Guy join the Bengals' Defense.

    Lou's got to love it.

An excerpt from Hobson's article on him...

"So ironic. I got the call Monday and had to go quick. And that's the day my wife's car broke down," Guy said. "My kids (the two oldest are 7 and 5) packed my bag. I was able to get in here Monday night."

"I might not have been in a training camp, but that didn't mean I did train like I wasn't in a camp. Two or three hours five days a week. When you get the call, you want to be prepared. If you get the call, you want to be prepared so I don't let down the people who gave me the call."

That's a guy I want around players like Murphy, Hill, Carter, Tufele, Ossai, Johnson, Davis, Rogers and Thomas.

Of course it's Anarumo's Defense that does it again.

In Arrowhead, Mahomes throws for the fewest yards in his entire career (games he's finished). Ever!

Add in the four turnovers (one taken away with a call that just never gets made), and Anarumo's Defense thoroughly dominated the Chiefs.

And, that was with a Defense severely short-handed on the Defensive Line.

Rankins, Higgins, Mims, Gesicki and Bell each got in a limited practice.

It appears as though Higgins will be Teeing it up come Sunday.

If this isn't a "get right" game I don't know what is.

Strike Early, go up by 4 TDs, and sit the starters. Easy Peazy.

I wish they would, but they never sit the Starters. I hope they understand the grind of a 21-game season. They need to sit the Starters as much as possible.

ESPN's Fantasy Football analyst has Chase rated as the #1 overall non-Quarterback this week and Burrow as the #1 Quarterback. This guy is expecting a line from Joe of 24 for 30, 315 yards, 3 TD's, with chase grabbing 12 of 14 targets for 165 yards and 2 TD's.

Re: 2024 Cincinnati Bengals Part 2

A Higgins/Chase/Burrow Offense is impossible to defend, and now that we have Gesicki and Moss, it has a two new elements it didn't have before. Gesicki and Moss don't have near the value without both Chase and Higgins opening things up.

Now all Burrow has to do is find the single-coverage Receiver and hit him. They'll be plenty of options for him.
