Sorry if this has been posted already. I don't know Augi's story. But I thought this video was really cool and worth watching.

Yes this ownership does do a lot of cool things for kids.
Bob Howman gets a lot of credit for the BRM and rightfully so.
But he was as cheap as they come. I like a lot of us here attended many games in the 70s.
They would have never did anything like this back then.
Heck they would even fine players for throwing balls up to kids in batting practice.
I never once saw any Reds player throw up a ball to a kid in the 70s while I attended games. I did however see the opposition players do it several times in batting practice.
I'm not defending the current ownership group. They are cheap when it comes to acquiring players. But they do some nice things for kids. I will give them that.

That's awesome, what they did for Augi. He's a little cutie. Is this something that they do randomly, or do the kids typically have a big obstacle they're facing in life?

Make-A-Wish grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
I am assuming this is Make-A-Wish or some similar organization.

I'm going to say this, and probably get laughed at. After seeing that I have a lot more appreciation for Bell and maybe he can't motivate, but he sure is a NICE PERSON.
