    Another Roy rock show sighting..

I saw Marshall Tucker at a festival in Cleves at Edgewater Park in 1975-ish. Lots of other bands there too like the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and NRPS. I can’t say I remember much of the show (as was typical of me in that era).

I was in Vegas one weekend, so I checked out what concerts were happening that weekend. Foreigner was playing at one venue, and about a mile away Lou Gramm was playing. It would have been worth seeing if they just could have combined those two shows!

I think Joe Walsh deserves a lilttle more respect than this....but otherwise, hard to argue.

You're 100% correct. Let's change it to "Joe Walsh and Friends Sing Karaoke with special guest Don Henley Pretending He's Not Singing Karaoke".

Different person entirely here, but is Sir Paul getting "helper" vocals for the high notes here? I think he is. The only question is, are the helper vocals live or Memorex?

Who cares if Paul McCartney cant hit high notes any more? is that really what we're doing? Guy cant tour at his age, he should stop becasue some dude in KY think he is owed a real show? LOL

Come on. This is like worrying about original lineups- The Eagles havent been original in 50 years.

I can't hit the high notes anymore either. Macca showed up at a recent Eagle's concert at the Hollywood Bowl, and sang Let It Be. It was horrible IMO. Wouldn't be surprised if Paul doesn't want to die on stage.

I'd rather see Henley die on stage straining to sing one of those high notes in Desperado than playing a tape that I could pull out of my collection at home.

Why do I get the feeling hitting the high notes is a metaphor for something else?

For me, you’d have to ask Mrs. Tucker if I can still “hit the high notes”. :O

When Mrs Tucker tells Roy to "rise and shine," I bet ol' Roy still rises to the occasion.
