I goof off when i should be working.
Also, lead. A stint in the Phantom Zone got me through that.

Dubito Ergo Cogito Ergo Sum.
I hate this question in interviews. I always feel the need to have just the right weakness.
I had a worse question at a recent job interview (I was 59 at the time) and they asked me where I envisioned myself in 5 years. It took all my will power to not quickly reply, on a beach not thinking about this crap.

Age has done us well. A weakness, or maybe rather a blind spot of mine is that I rarely grasp what people actually think of me. It's been a rude surprise to learn I'm way less smart than I thought I was. Which has led me to keeping my pie hole clapped down pretty tightly in my middle age.
Next Reds manager, second shooter. --Confirmed on Redszone.
Believing that my favorite sports team (fill in the blank with the league) will have an epiphany amongst Ownership and do something differently this season versus what they've shown they are willing to do in the past.

Years ago, when I was interviewing for my first job, I had an interview with a federal agency. The interviewer told me they had a hiring freeze so nothing would come from this interview (she intimated that she still came for the interview because it was basically a boondoggle for her to come). She then proceeded to read a list of questions and wasn't listening to my replies - one of the last questions was what do you think was your greatest accomplishment - at that point I threw caution to the wind and said "aside from my voyage on the most recent space shuttlle...."
I'll never regret that answer.

Snacking is a big weakness. I know what I need to do to control myself and to keep my consumption in check, but sometimes it just becomes a compulsion in the middle of the day to wonder to the pantry no matter if I'm not hungry at all.
I get sidetracked at work easily. Have a jira ticket to deliver but my brain gets too consumed with figuring out who should be in the bullpen, what the lineup should be, and who'll be the award winners this year.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

Crossword puzzles- cannot do these for the life of me.
What I used in interviews (and is still true) was that I sometimes didn’t ask for help trying to figure something out. I usually could eventually figure it out, but it would have been more expedient to ask for help and just get it done. This was generally received positively by the interviewer.
I got better about this as the years went by. I’d use it as a tool to draw other people out of their shells or get more junior guys insight as to how to solve problems. I just found that getting a bunch of smart people together to solve something got it done quicker.

I hate change, in any aspect of my life. I have been at my job for 24 years in a field that generally has a 3-5 year span.
