Agreed but Joe needs to go off from time to time and he never says anything to the officials...I blame his parents for raising him correctly.

I am also slowly moving to the camp that Gesicki is an important resign for this team...his output was modest last night but he opens things up on this offense.

Reason 100 that we need 2 new Guards

    Pressure allowed

    Volson 27 ranks 79/79
    Cappa 25 ranks 77/79

Pollacks seat has to be white hot right now.

    That’s pathetically impressive.

I'm getting tired of the OL not protecting him also. I'll take the 15 yard flag and killed drive for someone to level Humphrey there and have to be pulled off. You have to set the tone at some point.

Really makes me miss the days when we had Burfict out there keeping other teams honest.

Watching Lamar smirk and high step into the end zone, to dance down the sideline for 20 yards while a bunch of guys fail to tackle, none of that would happen if he was still around.

And I think it would transfer to what other teams are willing to do to Joe, as well. If you know one of the meanest dudes in the NFL is looking for an excuse to light your skill players up, you might not be as brazen with the stuff you pull.

The bad thing is tgst an day or two after the Raiders game, one of the OL even said he regretted not going after the defender (Crosby?) after a late hit on Burrow, yet here we are again.

Do the linemen not like Joe or are they all just “not mean enough” (to phrase it nicely)?

Bengals allowed 40 pressures last night so if you’re wondering why he is sped up on his reads it’s because he’s back there about to be killed each snap.

He’d be heading for Canton if he had been a Pittsburgh Steeler.

The stuff he did was not at all out of line with the stuff they let gold & black defenders get away with to this very day, but put him in a Bengal uniform and he’s dirty, a thug, has no place in the game, etc.

I'd take a guy like Whitworth too. Obviously because he was likely a HOFer, but I remember him tangling with guys who hit Palmer and Dalton late a few times.

Watching the Bengals lose the Super Bowl because of terrible offensive line play while Andrew Whitworth was standing on the opposing sideline was extra bitter to handle.

    Ugh.
