    FYI- For those of you who are able to take advantage of an HD signal, the Reds are being broadcast on ESPN HD (at least in my area).

    Over the last three Opening Days (including today) the average Reds starting pitchers career ERA is a sterling 4.85.

    I think that RH hitters hit RH pitchers better than LH hitters hit LH pitchers.

    Watching the Pirates and Brewers prior to the start of the Reds game. Man, would I kill for an Oliver Perez or Ben Sheets. It stands up the hair on the back of my neck watching a young throwing bullets like that on opening day.
