Apparently this lineup is inked in stone.

Don't tell me he needs a day off.
The guy could go two days without sleep and still perform.

I was thinking the same thing. And maybe switch Jr. and Dunn. But Joe Randa is not a cleanup hitter. One big week does not a power hitter make.Originally Posted by RedsIn07

I'm saying 13.

Is WMP still hurt?
The Reds could only manage 2 runs vs. Brian Moehler.
Last week when the Reds faced Prior they were crushing the ball the first two innings. Hairston robbed Griffey and Casey of extra bases and a few other balls were line outs. Then he fell into a groove. It would be nice to get to him early tonite with 3-4 runs.
In Prior's career, he's struggled against #6 hitters more than any other hitter. Should be interesting to see if Kearns goes long on him, especially with a runner on base.

Its going to be tough with the wind.
Which direction is it heading? Into the hitters?Originally Posted by reds44
Hitters are the most successful against Prior over his career when the count is 0-0 rather than any other count, including 2-0, and 3-0.
Hitters have a 1.016 career OPS against Prior when they make contact with an 0-0 pitch.
The best count to swing against Prior is the first pitch.
