Maybe, but I did buy her a plane ticket to go back to Kenya and visit her folks for a month. I think I earned some equity with that, since that trip cost $3000.

I wish I could make a deal like that. We've been trying since 2001 to have kids and it's not been working too well. I think it's going to cost us about $10,000 for the in vitro stuff. I've got to work my tail off to save that kind of money on top of everything else.

On other matters, went to the games last night and today. Bases loaded in the first and second and nothing to show for it.
Then they went down meekly.
Mailed this one in.

Well with us it was different. The car I had been driving for years bit the dust and it was time for a new one. So naturally she wants all kind of say in it, even though I'm going to be the one driving it most of the time. She wanted some small fuel efficient thing, but I can't stand small cars. She also wanted to buy a standard because of the lower price, but I do a lot of city driving all over and get caught in a fair number of traffic jams, so I didn't want to be constantly shifting all the time. This was one of the few areas where she gave in. We were looking at Hyundais and she wanted the little one that was a 5 speed and I wanted the Sonata, a nice sized sedan with a bit more of an engine under the hood, a nice comfortable car to spend a lot of time in. I think the salesman was kind of siding with me and he cut a nice deal on the price for the Sonata and she was sold. I'll probably never catch another break again after that one.
