I agree RFA. I'm a HUGE Cornell fan - I can't think of anyone who can basically screech at the top of his lungs one minute and then sing a beautiful soulful ballad the next. I really like his solo CD as well - especially songs like Follow My Way, When I'm Down, Preaching. Any particular songs you like off the new album? Personally I love #1 Zero and Heavens Dead.

In an attempt to prepare for vacation, I am revisiting Pet Sounds.
Will trade this space for a #1 starter.

My top three at the moment (as these things change!) would be:
    1. Your Time Has Come
    2. #1 Zero
    3. Out of Exile

Cornell is so talented. This was obvious to me when I first heard Soundgarden playing stuff like Rusty Cage & Outshined. Kim Thaiyl, the lead guitar player for Soundgarden, was a decent player. But I think Morello takes Cornell to a different level with his unique style of playing. And with Cornell's songwriting/singing abilities it takes Morello to a different level that he was not able to experience with Rage singer Zach De Larocha. A GOOD MIX!

Nice pick, '62. Any DT CD is going to be a good one IMO! I am a big fan... enough that I bought a guitar that was autographed by the band off of ebay. That was the "I am single and have money to burn days"! Still have that special guitar though. I last saw them live at Annie's Outdoor (Cincy) a few years ago w/ Queensryche. Amazing musicians.

Do you have his Live at The Roxy, has a great medley of Panic (by the smiths) into Life on a Chain

I don't have that, but it sounds like I should add it to my shopping list.
