Dunn comes a few feet from hitting a three run jack.

    1-0 Reds.

Oddly enough, Gameday had that pitch on the low inside corner. Go figure.

Dunn almost went deep and it looked like he hardly made contact

That second pitch to Pujols was better than the one Peña was called out on.

It was up, it was down, it was everywhere but the strike zone.

And now Claussen's been squeezed on a couple pitches to both Edmonds and Pujols.

That's the difference between being in first and last place in the division.

If WMP is supposed to be a centerfielder, and I hear that he plays better and is more comfortable in that role (sees the ball better etc. etc.) then why isn't he put in CF in situations like this while relegating Romano to RF???

Pena would have had to walk (or double) for Dunn to have the SF. A walk for Pena is long odds.

    Ok, Brandon...here's the thing...

You can't groove belt-high 86 MPH fastballs to MLB hitters. It just won't work. Thanks much.

Forget Walker, forget Rolen, give me Sanders anyday of the week. The guy is putting up monster numbers.
