Game Thread 7-6: The Savior is not in the lineup!

    Reds:

    1. Lopez SS
    2. Dunn LF
    3. Randa 3B
    4. Griffey CF
    5. Casey 1B
    6. Aurillia 2B
    7. Pena RF
    8. LaRue C
    9. Hudson P

    Giants:

    1. Sanchez RF
    2. Vizquel SS
    3. Snow 1B
    4. Feliz 3B
    5. Durham 2B
    6. Tucker LF
    7. Matheny C
    8. Ellison CF
    9. Correia P

If Hudson can make it through 5 innings, I predict a Reds win.

i think that lineup is merely bad, rather than completely inexplicable and terrible a la the dunn batting 6th or 7th lineups.

my lineup is lopez, randa, dunn, griffey, pena, casey, aurilia, larue, pitcher

If Machado is 'The Savior", does that make Standridge 'The Assistant Savior' ???

Not that RA is an OBP machine.....but Pena batting behind those guys...mans more chances for RBI's ...than having Pena in front of them. IMO

Wonder if there is a law that says Randa or Casey must be in the top 3 in the lineup

    Yep.

In Ohio, if you ignore an orator on Decoration day to such an extent as to publicly play croquet or pitch horseshoes within one mile of the speaker's stand, you can be fined $25.00.

Women are prohibited from wearing patent leather shoes in public.

It is illegal to fish for whales on Sunday.

It is illegal to get a fish drunk.

The Ohio driver's education manual states that you must honk the horn whenever you pass another car.

It is illegal for the Reds to bat Sean Casey or Joe Randa anywhere other than third.

Watching Luke Hudson pitch is like stepping in dog-doo repeatedly.

I have no problem with Randa hitting 3rd. OPS over .900 the last two months.

.374 OBP, .876 OPS for the season.
