Don't take it personally, Matt. Unless you're writing that stuff.

Castillo singles, Pierre to 3rd.
Ortiz is a country-fried turd.

Conine with a sac fly. 2 outs.
2-0 Marlins
Castillo steals 2nd.

I don't despise him, and I'm not in the game threads that often, and I watch games whenever possible, not listen.
But you're right, I do dog him when I hear about tonights titanic struggle, or the quintisential ladies man, or Mandingo, or "stay with me now", or his golf game, or tomatoes, or Elvis. That stuff has a way of grating on me.
That's just not getting it done, partner.

Encarnacion walks.
Ortiz bunts Encarnacion to 2nd. 1 out.
Encarnacion out at 3rd on a Freel ground ball. 2 outs.
Lopez flies out. 3 outs.
2-0 Marlins after 3 innings.
And EdE screws up. Rookie mistake. Of course, with this lineup and with the slumps Freel and Lopez are in, it really doesn't make any difference anyway.Originally Posted by CTA513
I know players need rest, but why do you leave you two best players on the bench just because it's Sunday? Why against a tough pitcher where, just maybe, these "stars" just might make the difference? I really don't understand the "Sunday lineup" phenominon at all.
