Therein lies the problem. You haven't listened in a while. When you listen day in and day out it gets old. Real old. Like as old as me on my next birthday.
Will trade this space for a #1 starter.

You're probably right. It's probably a matter of perspective. It's actually been a a couple of years since I listened to the guy.

But I don't know--there's so little uniqueness and quirkiness in today's announcing that doesn't seem forced in some way or over the top. Marty's rube act is kind of refreshing in a weird way. It's hard for me to describe.

Besides, anyone cool enough to do those old Kroger ads where he and Joe grab their pens and say "Autograph time!" is pretty awesome in my book.

As far as D-Train cruising, through 4: Ortiz 58 pitches, 2 unearned runs. Willis 61 pitches.

Seems like the pitching duel the other thread was envisioning.

But you want to know what gets old?

    Ortiz.

And you want to know what never gets old?

    Saying Ortiz gets old.

Ortiz makes another throwing error and Pierre goes from 1st to 3rd.

Thanks for the updates. I can't get any of the internet feeds to work. Is anyone else having that trouble?
