He earned that nickname last season didn't he, against the cubs?

I heard them on WGN when they said that

"And Austin Kearns is Darth Vader in baseball cleats"

When he hit that huge HR to RF to dash the Cubs playoff hopes.

Anybody else watching the gamecast on mlb.com and think that Wuertz looks like a deranged John Malkovich (as if he himself isn't deranged)??

I know Dunn's a good hitter, and he's on a tear. But an intentional walk with 2 outs down 7-1? He can't hit with RISP, anyway...didn't Dusty get the memo?

Kearns is still a Jedi in Training. He doesn't become a Darth until he moves to the Darkside, like the Cubs.

Nice atbat by Kearns. Dunn and Kearns have reach base twice in this inning.

Since Jeff Gordon called Wrigley Stadium, Wrigley Field....he hasn't won a race

Of course, the Cubs have also fallen apart

I really REALLY liked that at bat by kearns there. Aside from watching 3 pitches down the middle in his first at bat.. I think Kearns has been solid since his return. Certainly better than a flailing Wily Mo.
