    Learn something new everyday I guess - and it certainly makes sense with the way they're leaving the bats on their shoulders. Thanks for the insight.

    Th reason is the field is in bright sunlight and the batters eye is in the shade.

    I have no problem with another year of Weathers if he can produce similar results. After an awful start to the season, he's been by far our steadiest reliever.

    Claussen has already thrown 42 pitches through 2 innings. He's going to need to show some efficiency if he wants to stretch this out past 5 innings.
