Why don't we have a Marty smiley? It would be cool to have it available for things like reds44's post!Originally Posted by reds44

I agree. I went downtown tonight, and had a blast. But we would put up damn near 20 tonight on a night when EI didn't have them. Not fair.Originally Posted by redsrule2500
I've watched this for years and it never ceases to amaze me. The Reds are so ignorant in PR that they assume that by August, everyone is in Bengals mode. You don't see this in St. Louis, NY or anywhere else, but in Cincinnati they do this. They show series everywhere until the perceived football pre-season begins and then they do a game now and then. God forbid if the Reds ever again make a run for the pennant.Originally Posted by Gainesville Red
They forget that there are some of us who live, eat, breathe, and follow baseball year round. We could care less about the Bengals or the bangles for that matter. We want to follow our team. Instead of showing the games all season, they try to pick and choose what they "think" the fans are thinking and show few games after August 1.
Years ago, I saw Stan Musial's last game on WLW (well, the Reds' network) and many other tijmes the last game of the season was shown. Not any more. That's why I've said for the longest time that we need a whole new attitude from the top to the bottom--something the new ownership (I hope) brings to the city. It wasn't too long ago when writing the Reds I commented that we had no local Reds coverage for games. Some yahoo replied to me (I think it was Rob Butcher) and said we had a local station that carried all the Reds games. Only problem was this station hadn't carried the Reds games for over three years. Out with all of them. They are in above their heads.
