Eh, got caught in a bad spot actually. Mike Cameron was my starting CF and couldn't play at the beginning of the season. Jeremy Reed was my backup and started off horribly. I dealt for Pierre after his slow start figuring that he'd self-correct and that I could deal him for more than what I gave up when Cameron got healthy. He hasn't, Reed hasn't developed, injuries to other OF meant that I had to use Cameron in RF, and Cameron can't really help me right now at any position.

My OF situation started out bad and it's now to the point that my starters are Jonny Gomes (good), Juan Pierre (bad), and Carl Everett (not as bad as Pierre). And unless Brad Hawpe suddenly starts playing CF when he comes off the DL, I'm pretty much screwed in CF.

Then throw in the fact that I'm in a 2-team sabermetric league with 30-man rosters and smart owners and I really can't do much of anything right now other than hope for a hot finish to the season from Pierre. If he stinks for another couple days, I'm benching him and starting Chip Ambres.

How I'm challenging for the title is beyond me.

A 9 pitch inning for Milton. He hasn't really settled down, the DBacks have just gotten more impatient. Here is hoping that today turns out better than yesterday.

Batting RH he tends to be more of a hacker than a waiter, has less bat control too.
