WMP with his second homerun today.

Like I said. I suspect you could use Casey's home run totals as a barometer and thermometer all in one. Any meteorologists on the board?Originally Posted by CTA513

Casey with a homerun.
Wily Mo is starting to get hot shouldnt Narron sit him now for a few games to cool him down?
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
Kearns strikes out. 3 outs.
13-6 Reds after 8 innings.
Casey hits a Dunn.
Casey hasn't hit many Casey's since his power returned.
Man.. I'll tell you what... If it wasn't for offence this year, our average starting pitching would be something like 0-16. Out of curiosity, what place are the Reds in as Most Runs Scored this year??
WMP will be fine. Just pencil him into CF and watch him grow. His troubles in the OF primarily come when he's in RF. Because of the slice off the bat of right-handed hitters, it takes either experience of feel to properly judge the trajectory. Unfortunately, WMP has neither. Not to say he never will. Sosa was just one of many terrible young right-fielders and he matured into a tolerable fielder. In CF, WMP seems to have much more success judging the ball off the bat. Problem is, WMP is young and getting very little experience sitting the pine.

Who would you sit down?Originally Posted by redsfanmia
Each of Griffey, Casey and Kearns is also red hot. Dunn is the only one who's cold, and you certainly don't sit him.
Look for Pena to get starts against LH pitchers, and when one of the other 4 needs a rest.
Weathers to pitch the 9th.
Gonzalez flies out. 1 out.
