    I'm just hoping to see some highlights on BBTN... Last night they skipped the Bucs vs. Reds altogether, but showed A's highlights twice

    Every team generally has a worse record against the better teams. It's what makes them better teams.

    We are 29-35 against the 9 teams still in contention for a playoff spot. If you included the Cubs, who were, until recently, in wild card contention, we are 36-40.

    So, IMO, I would say that we have more or less held our own against the better teams.

    But until our pitching improves, we aren't going to consistently beat on the best teams in the league.

    This team isn't going to the playoffs, but at least we can still dream. Most years there isn't even a miracle chance right now.
